What's Included?
With the purchase of a Hive Active Heating thermostat you will receive:
A stylish wireless thermostat.
A hub which is plugged into your broadband router so the thermostat can be connected to the internet.
A Receiver which is fitter near your boiler. This is needed to allow your central heating and thermostat to communicate to one another.
The App
The Hive App has a variety of features which extend from simply adjusting your heating from you phone.
A handy 'Boost' setting which is available for the central heating and the hot water system. This allows you to extend your heating outside of your usual schedule.
Hive uses Geolocation to help you use your heating efficiently. By sending you reminders whilst you're out, you'll never arrive home to a cold house. It even tells you if you've left the heating on when you go out.
You can program up to 6 time slots per day to create a heating and hot water schedule tailored to your needs.
Frost protection will automatically kick in if your property drops below 7 degrees centigrade in temperature.
Let Hive know when you'll be going on holiday so your heating will stay dormant until you return home.

The Hive Active Lights are dimmable smart light bulbs which you can control from anywhere.
Designed to help you save energy, these light bulbs can be turned on and off via you're smart phone. Using the Hive App, you can set a schedule for your lights to dim or turn on throughout the day.
Like a regular bulb, Hive Active Lights are available in screw or bayonet styles. The lights also come in varied light settings, from the standard LED white to colour changing!
When connected to the Hive Motion Sensor, your smart lights can turn on at signs of movement, making it even easier to save energy.
Hive is also developing Smart Security for the home with items such as the Window or Door Sensor. You'll be informed if a particular door or window is opened or closed through the App, giving you peace of mind.
